“Tears In Heaven – Eric Clapton”

Tears in Heaven” is a song by Eric Clapton and Will Jennings, from the 1991 Rush film soundtrack. The song was written about the pain and loss Clapton felt following the death of his 4-year-old son, Conor.[2] In an interview with Sue Lawley in 1992, Clapton said of the song, “There is a song that I’ve written for a movie, but in actual fact it was in the back of my head but it didn’t really have a reason for being until I was scoring this movie which I did a little while ago and then it sort of had a reason to be. And it is a little ambiguous because it could be taken to be about Conor but it also is meant to be part of the film.”[3] Conor fell from a window of a 53rd-floor New York apartment owned by his mother’s friend on March 20, 1991. Clapton arrived at the apartment shortly after the accident.[4]

WHY THE MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST?

WHY THE MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST?

image

The inherited, sinful blood from Adam and Eve was replaced by the Precious Blood of Jesus! Our Lord Jesus Christ bleed to death. On the cross, he was covered with blood…. his bloodshed is our “blood of redemption.”

MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST SAVE US AND THE WHOLE WORLD! Read … (Video and Prayer Included)

The Blood of Jesus is In Heaven On the Mercy Seat!
by David J. Stewart

… But BY HIS OWN BLOOD he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” —Hebrews 9:12

The Old Testament tabernacle, holy of holies, mercy seat and priestly work of atonement were all “SHADOWS” of things to come. Hebrews 10:1 and 4, “For the law having a SHADOW of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. … For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.” The blood of Jesus had to be applied to the heavenly mercy seat to redeem mankind. If Jesus’ blood had soaked into the ground at Calvary, then the sins of humanity could not have been taken away. Hebrews 9:12, “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” It WASN’T finished at the cross!

The Price Of The Church (by Pastor Jack Hyles)

This is not a new or strange doctrine, it is the Word of God. The sad truth is that most people have attended lousy churches their entire life and have never been blessed enough to have a man of God who truly walks with God and understands the Word of God. The lamb’s death wasn’t enough when the 10th plague (the death of the firstborn) came upon Egypt! The lamb’s shed blood had to be APPLIED to the doorposts of the home. The Lord said WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD, I will pass over you! Exodus 12:13, And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD, I WILL PASS OVER YOU, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt….

Prayer Against the Antichrist

Hard Copy of Prayer: PRAY AWAY THE ANTI-CHRIST

O loving and merciful Father. You are all knowledgeable and all-powerful. Oh Alpha! Oh Omega! Creator of all things. You are eternal, Father. Father, why are you forsaking me? Look kindly on Your only-begotten Son Jesus Christ, Who came to save your people and bring Your Kingdom down on earth. I offer You all the agonies, tortures, pains, and Precious Blood of Your only Son, Jesus Christ, for the defeat of all the enemies of the Holy Cross of salvation; the antichrist and the Red Dragon who are fighting or will fight against the truth now and in the end of the age. May they, through the Precious Blood of Our Redeemer and His last breath on earth, disappear like foam exposed under the sun, so that Your Kingdom will quickly come on earth. Amen. Precious Blood of Jesus Christ – Thy Kingdom come. Amen.

MY SWEET LORD

image

“My Sweet Lord”

is a song by English musician and former Beatle

George Harrison

that was released in November 1970 on his triple album All Things Must Pass. Also issued as a single, Harrison’s first as a solo artist, “My Sweet Lord” topped charts worldwide and was the biggest-selling single of 1971 in the UK. In America and Britain, the song was the first number 1 single by an ex-Beatle. Harrison originally gave the song to his fellow Apple Records artist Billy Preston to record; this version, which Harrison co-produced, appeared on Preston’s Encouraging Words album in September 1970.

Harrison wrote “My Sweet Lord” in praise of the Hindu god Krishna,[1] while at the same time intending the lyrics to serve as a call to abandon religious sectarianism through his deliberate blending of the Hebrew word hallelujah with chants of “Hare Krishna” and Vedic prayer.[2] The recording features producer Phil Spector’s Wall of Sound treatment and heralded the arrival of Harrison’s much-admired slide guitar technique, which one biographer described as being “musically as distinctive a signature as the mark of Zorro”.[3] Preston, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton and the group Badfinger are among the other musicians appearing on the recording.

Later in the 1970s,

“My Sweet Lord”

was at the centre of a heavily publicised copyright infringement suit, due to its similarity to the Ronnie Mack song “He’s So Fine”, a 1963 hit for the New York girl group the Chiffons. In 1976, Harrison was found to have subconsciously plagiarised the earlier tune, a verdict that had repercussions throughout the music industry. He claimed to have used the out-of-copyright “Oh Happy Day”, a Christian hymn, as his inspiration for the song’s melody.

“Arms of Love” Sung By Misty Edwards

Biography

Misty Edwards has been a worship leader and songwriter at the International House of Prayer since its inception in September 1999, and currently serves on the leadership team.

Misty is committed to pursuing the Lord by living in obedience to basic scriptural principles. “My focus is to go deep in the Scripture. To live out the first and great commandment to love God wholeheartedly, which leads to Jesus’ second commandment, to love others as ourselves, stay faithful in the place of prayer, fast more, give more, and live the Sermon on the Mount lifestyle to the highest degree, even in my weakness,” says Misty.

She has been actively writing songs since she was a teenager, and continues to grow in this art, while encouraging others to do the same. “I write songs by looking right at Jesus from my heart, and actually singing to a real person who is listening and moving at the sound of my voice,” she says. Through worship leading at conferences and her faithful years of leading in the prayer room, which is streamed live, 24/7, around the world, Misty’s music has impacted thousands. She desires that in worship believers would encounter Jesus intimately: “I pray that the songs I write would bring people not only into an intellectual understanding, but a true heart connect with God, who is bending over the balcony of heaven listening to them singing words that move Him and impact Him.”

One of Misty’s passions is to see singers and songwriters fulfill their role as forerunners, by bringing a message concerning God’s personality and the return of His Son. She believes God is raising up musical, prophetic theologians who will write songs like King David, declaring the knowledge of God in the context of knowing the times and the seasons. She believes music is the most powerful way to get a room of people to join together with one heart, one mind, and one voice. “When songwriters write songs after God’s heart,” Misty says, “it will cause a corporate people to agree with the Lord, which will usher in His presence and prepare His Bride for the great and terrible things that are about to come upon the earth.”

The Movie EXODUS “God Gave This Land To Me” song and trailer …

rsz_10942566_337486903129288_8491029484563350880_n

Exodusis a 1960 epic film on the reclamation of Israel made by Alpha and Carlyle Productions and distributed by United Artists. Produced and directed by Otto Preminger, the film was based on the 1958 novel Exodus by Leon Uris. The screenplay was written by Dalton Trumbo. The film features an ensemble cast, and its celebrated soundtrack music was written by Ernest Gold.

Widely characterized as a “Zionist epic”,[3][4] the film has been identified by many commentators as having been enormously influential in stimulating Zionism and support for Israel in the United States.[5][6][7] While the Preminger film softened the anti-British and anti-Arab sentiment of the novel, the film remains controversial for its depiction of the Arab-Israeli conflict, and for what some scholars perceive to be its lasting impact on American views of the regional turmoil. It would also become famous for Preminger openly hiring screenwriter Dalton Trumbo, who had been blacklisted for a decade for being a communist and forced to work under assumed names. Together with Spartacus, also written by Trumbo, Exodus is credited with ending the Hollywood blacklist.

Plot summary

The film is based on events surrounding the ship Exodus in Cyprus in 1947 and then on events in Palestine during the founding of the modern state of Israel in 1948.

Nurse Katherine “Kitty” Fremont (Eva Marie Saint) is an American volunteer at the Karaolos internment camp on Cyprus, where thousands of Jews – Holocaust survivors – are being held by the British, who will not let them go to Palestine. They anxiously wait for the day they will be liberated. Ari Ben Canaan (Paul Newman), a Haganah rebel who had been a captain in the Jewish Brigade of the British Army in the Second World War, obtains a cargo ship and smuggles 611 Jewish inmates out of the camp for an illegal voyage to Mandate Palestine before being discovered by military authorities. When the British find out that the refugees are in a ship in the harbor of Famagusta, they blockade it. The refugees stage a hunger strike, during which the camp’s doctor dies, and Ari threatens to blow up the ship and the refugees. The British relent and allow the Exodus safe passage.

Meanwhile, Kitty has grown very fond of Karen Hansen (Jill Haworth), a young Danish-Jewish girl searching for her father, from whom she was separated during the war. She has taken up the Zionist cause, much to the chagrin of Kitty, who had hoped to take young Karen to America so that she can begin a new life there.

During this time, opposition to the partition of Palestine into Arab and Jewish states is heating up, and Karen’s young beau Dov Landau (Sal Mineo) proclaims his desire to join the Irgun, a radical Zionist underground network. Dov goes to an Irgun address, only to get caught in a police trap. After he is freed, he is contacted by members of the Irgun and is interviewed by Ari Ben Canaan’s uncle Akiva (David Opatoshu). Before swearing Dov in, Akiva forces the boy to confess that he was a Sonderkommando in Auschwitz and that he was raped by Nazis. Due to his activities, Akiva has been disowned by Ari’s father, Barak (Lee J. Cobb), who heads the mainstream Jewish Agency trying to create a Jewish state through political and diplomatic means. He fears that the Irgun will damage his efforts, especially since the British have put a price on Akiva’s head.

Karen has gone to live at Gan Dafna, a fictional Jewish kibbutz near Mount Tabor at which Ari was raised.[8] Kitty and Ari have fallen in love, but Kitty pulls back, feeling like an outsider after meeting Ari’s family and learning of his previous love interest, Dafna, a young woman tortured and murdered by Arabs, who is the namesake of the Gan Dafna kibbutz. Leaving Kitty, Ari promises to help find Karen’s father, who is eventually found ill in a hospital in Jerusalem and does not recognize Karen, because of his being shell shocked from the concentration camp experience, where he cannot speak.

When Dov Landau bombs the King David Hotel in an act of terrorism, leading to dozens of fatalities, Akiva is arrested, imprisoned in Acre fortress, and sentenced to hang. Seeking to save Akiva’s life, as well as to free the Haganah and Irgun fighters imprisoned by the British, Ari organizes an escape plan for the prisoners.

Dov, who had managed to elude the arresting soldiers, turns himself in so that he can use his knowledge of explosives to facilitate the Acre Prison break. All goes according to plan; hundreds of prisoners, including Akiva, manage to escape. Akiva is fatally shot by British soldiers while evading a roadblock set up to catch the escaped prisoners. Ari is also badly wounded. He makes his way to Abu Yesha, an Arab village near Gan Dafna, where his lifelong friend, Taha, (John Derek) is the mukhtar. Kitty is brought there and treats his wound and Ari and Kitty’s romance is rekindled. Meanwhile, the doctor at Camp Dafna, is arrested by the British troops when they find that the camp has stored illegal weapons under the surface of the pavement.

An independent Israel is now in plain view, but Arab nationals commanded by Mohammad Amin al-Husayni, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, plot to attack Gan Dafna and kill its villagers. Ari receives prior warning of this attack from Taha, and he manages to get the younger children of the town out in a mass overnight escape. Karen, ecstatic over the prospect of a new nation, finds Dov (who was out on patrol outside the town) and proclaims her love for him; Dov assures her that they will marry someday. As Karen returns to Gan Dafna, she is ambushed and killed by a gang of Arab militiamen. Dov discovers her lifeless body the following morning. That same day, the body of Taha is found hanging in his village, killed by Arab extremists with a Star of David symbol carved on his body. A swastika and the sign saying “Jude” is written on the walls of the village, indicating the Arabic hate of the Jews. Karen and Taha are buried together in one grave. At the Jewish burial ceremony, Ari swears on their bodies that someday, Jews and Arabs will live together and share the land in peace, not only in death, but also in life. While the other people shovel in dirt at the grave site, Dov angrily just steps on the shovel and leaves, refusing to accept Karen’s death. The movie then ends with Ari, Kitty, and a Palmach contingent entering trucks and heading toward battle.
